What does high BUN and MCV mean in blood test?

High BUN and MCV can be caused by numerous problems.

High levels of BUN and MCV in the blood indicate a variety of health problems. If your blood BUN level is between 6 mg/dL to 20 mg/dL and the MCV level is between 83 mg/dL to 101 fL, then your body does not have any underlying health problems. But if BUN and MCV levels exceed these levels, you should see a doctor immediately.
