What does high RBC and APTT mean in blood test?
High RBC and APTT can be caused by numerous problems.
High levels of RBC and APTT in the blood indicate a variety of health problems. If your blood RBC level is between 4.5 mil/uL to 5.5 mil/uL and the APTT level is between 22 mil/uL to 35 seconds, then your body does not have any underlying health problems. But if RBC and APTT levels exceed these levels, you should see a doctor immediately.

How is a blood test performed in the lab?
Depending on the symptoms you are experiencing, your doctor may order a RBC and APTT test. In most hospitals RBC and APTT results can be obtained within three to six hours after blood is taken. The blood is usually drawn from a vein on the inside of the elbow or the back of the hand. Drink plenty of water before your appointment. If you experience any symptoms that you are concerned about are out of the ordinary, call your doctor immediately.
