What does high RBC and ESR mean in blood test?

High RBC and ESR can be caused by numerous problems.

High levels of RBC and ESR in the blood indicate a variety of health problems. If your blood RBC level is between 4.5 mil/uL to 5.5 mil/uL and the ESR level is between 0 mil/uL to 14 mm/hr, then your body does not have any underlying health problems. But if RBC and ESR levels exceed these levels, you should see a doctor immediately.

How is a blood test performed in the lab?
