What does high RBC and RDW mean in blood test?

High RBC and RDW can be caused by numerous problems.

High levels of RBC and RDW in the blood indicate a variety of health problems. If your blood RBC level is between 4.5 mil/uL to 5.5 mil/uL and the RDW level is between 11.6 mil/uL to 14 %, then your body does not have any underlying health problems. But if RBC and RDW levels exceed these levels, you should see a doctor immediately.
