What does high RDW and RBC mean in blood test?

High RDW and RBC can be caused by numerous problems.

High levels of RDW and RBC in the blood indicate a variety of health problems. If your blood RDW level is between 11.6 % to 14 % and the RBC level is between 4.5 % to 5.5 mil/uL, then your body does not have any underlying health problems. But if RDW and RBC levels exceed these levels, you should see a doctor immediately.
