What causes high MCV and low MCHC?

High MCV and low MCHC can be caused by many reasons.

If your MCV is in between 83 fL and 101 fL and your MCHC is in between 31.5 g/dL and 34.5 g/dL then you need not worry as these are the normal ranges for MCV and MCHC respectively. But if your levels are lesser or greater than the above values, then there may be some problem in your body.
