How Grey Nava treated high rbc?

Note - This article is written by one of our patients about their experiences with high rbc.

My name is Grey Nava, and I'd like to talk about my experience dealing with high levels of RBC personally. My path to enhancing my health and reducing my RBC count, which had a value of 5.9, started when I started seeing a number of problems that affected my daily life. I was able to go through this difficulty and make improvements because to my family's consistent support and my own tenacity.

I initially paid little heed to the symptoms I was having. Even after obtaining adequate sleep, I frequently felt exhausted, and I observed that exercise made me feel out of breath. I also occasionally felt lightheaded and had trouble focusing. Despite the fact that these symptoms didn't seem to be connected, I needed to consult a doctor because of their persistence and gradual deterioration.

I was diagnosed with polycythemia, or high RBC count, after visiting a doctor and completing a number of tests. I was shocked to get this information because I had always thought of myself as healthy and active. The condition known as polycythemia is marked by an excessive production of red blood cells by the bone marrow, which can result in thicker blood and complications like blood clots and cardiovascular issues.

I firmly decided to take charge of my health and make the required changes to lower my RBC count after realising how severe the situation was. My doctor suggested a comprehensive strategy that included both pharmacological and lifestyle changes.

I started by changing my diet as one of the first things I did. I concentrated on eating a healthy, balanced diet that included more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains while consuming less processed food and bad fats. I was very careful to consume iron-rich foods like lean meats and leafy greens. Red blood cell synthesis requires iron, however too much iron can lead to excessive RBC numbers. I attempted to boost healthy RBC production and lower my count by eating a diet that was balanced.

The importance of regular exercise in my daily routine increased. I began with low-impact exercises and increased the intensity over time as my fitness level increased. Exercise helped me manage my weight and enhanced my cardiovascular health and circulation, which eased the burden on my blood cells. Exercise also reduced tension and improved my mood and general well-being.

My doctor recommended medication to control my RBC count in addition to these lifestyle changes. My body wasn't able to produce an excessive amount of red blood cells because of this medicine. It was crucial to have regular check-ups and blood tests to keep track of my development and make any required modifications to my treatment plan.

My family was a major source of encouragement for me throughout this trying road. Every step of the process, they offered unflinching love, compassion, and encouragement. They encouraged me and helped me stay focused on changing my life for the better. We all adopted healthier behaviours, participating in family physical activities and cooking wholesome food. Their presence made the trip less intimidating, and their support lessened how much my problems interfered with my everyday activities.

My efforts eventually started to pay off in a positive way. I found that my symptoms had much improved as my RBC count began to drop. My energy levels rose, and I experienced less frequent shortness of breath and vertigo. Every improvement encouraged me to carry on in my quest for a higher RBC count and a better quality of life.

When I think back on my experience, I am thankful for the diagnosis because it led me to make significant life adjustments. It gave me insight into the importance of resilience, a strong family, and self-care. I was able to successfully lower my RBC count and enhance my general well-being through a mix of lifestyle adjustments, medical treatments, and the constant support of my loved ones.

I now work to keep up my good habits and track my RBC count on a regular basis to make sure my development is continuing. I would advise anyone dealing with comparable health issues to seek professional advice, adjust their lifestyle as needed, and surround themselves with supportive people who will raise them up and encourage them along the way. Keep in mind that you may conquer any challenge if you have determination and the help of loved ones.
